Hello!
It is wonderful that you have found this course on Deep
Meditation...I want to congratulate you. This course content is NOT
being taught anywhere else on the entire planet.
IF
you practice what you learn here, you are going to get some
impressive results.
TOP
TIPS FOR GREAT RESULTS:
Regular
practice replaces wishful thinking.
You
can do this stuff during your daily life.
Use
the little cracks of time to take advantage of these power tools that
you are learning to use.
Make
sure you take time to open the eyes slowly when you do any of the
techniques with your eyes closed.
When
you become aware that you are no longer with the specific focus that
you are using...come back to the focus with just a hint of your
awareness...no effort...no straining...just gentle, easy, simple.
This
is NOT about pushing your awareness around, or forcing, or
CONCENTRATING...or straining.
All
you need to do is the tiniest little bit of bringing your awareness
to experience the focus...whatever the focus happens to be that you
are practicing.
You
can do many of the techniques you learn in this course while you are
lying down.
Some
people have trouble falling asleep, or they wake up in the middle of
the night and have trouble falling back to sleep.
This
is a very good time to begin practicing the techniques you are
learning in this course.
And
since many of these techniques are done very quietly...often
silently...you can indulge yourself even if you are sharing your bed
with someone else.
IN
this lesson, we are going to be getting into something that we have
NEVER done before.
The
concept might seem rather bizarre...it is the idea of experiencing
your awareness moving in and out of your body.
When
we come to this technique, you will see more about what I am talking
about...how strange this might seem...at first.
With
a few applications of the technique you are about to learn...you will
probably find that it is NOT so strange...and probably will become a
new normal.
BREATHING
STARTER:
Okay,
ready, set...go!
Here's
a question for you...what are some of the things that if you stop
doing will kill you:
- Drinking water
- Eating food
- Breathing
I
am sure there are other items to put on this list...but which one of
the three on this list...IF you stop doing right now...which one will
kill you first...and the fastest?
Right...breathing.
Without that next breath, and the 20 to 100 or so after that...you're
going to be unconscious...and on well on your way to being dead.
Let's
take a look at this in more detail:
After
one minute of not breathing brain cells begin to die.
After
three minutes serious brain damage is likely.
After
ten minutes, most of the brains cells have died...you are unlikely to
recover.
After
fifteen minutes of not breathing, recovery is virtually impossible.
Your
typical “average” healthy adult (at rest) takes anywhere from 12
to 20 breaths every minute or so.
And
when you take a “normal” breath, your average, healthy female or
male adult, (at rest) takes in about half a litre of air.
THE DIAPHRAGM IS THE BREATHING BOSS!
Now,
let's do some breathing!
Sit
comfortably, feet flat on the floor, unless you are sitting cross
legged, tailor fashion. Do not slouch. Sit with your back firmly
supported, and your head and neck free and clear...UNLESS you are
doing this lying down on your back.
If
you are lying down, you might want to put a firm pillow under the
back of your knees. And do NOT have your head propped up with more
than one pillow. Make sure you are lying straight, unless you are
suffering from some condition that prevents this.
Okay.
Now
close the eyes.
Good.
Begin
to breath with your awareness.
With
your awareness, experience the breath coming in to your body.
With
your awareness, experience the breath coming out of your body.
Experience
the breath coming in and out of your body.
Breath
in and out through your nose...unless your nose is clogged, or you
have difficulty breathing through your nose...then breath through
your mouth.
Keep
experiencing the breath coming in and out of your body.
(2
minutes)
Very
good....now open the eyes slowly.
ABDOMINAL BREATHING
For
the rest of the instructions...please come on over and take this

If
it feels to soon to open your eyes, take a little longer. Stretch,
rub your face and head with your hands...open the eyes gradually,
bit-by-bit...no rush.
The
process of experiencing the ancient sound with your awareness...let
the ancient sound be with your awareness...and IF the ancient sound
changes in some way, perhaps the way it comes to you, the
pronunciation, or the speed, maybe it comes longer, or faster,
perhaps it comes very very short...it might become quite changed,
distorted, or so very subtle that it is almost like it is
transparent...very faint...whatever the case...when you become aware
that you are no longer with the sound, we come back to it with our
awareness...gently...easily.
Whatever
change happens, we let it be...we just let it be what it is being for
us.
If
you feel some emotion, or have a strong feeling during your practice,
I want you to know that this does happen.
Sometimes
you can remember some event that took place, and it's like you are
reliving that event, and your body may react...your heart might start
to beat faster, and you might feel fear, or anger....
This
is the time to just let the feelings settle...and let the ancient
sound go...just sit comfortably...and let the strong sensation
pass...and when you are feeling settled, then come back to the
ancient sound.
And
if you go through another strong sensation...simply repeat the
procedure of letting go of the ancient sound, and sitting easily,
until the sensation passes.
Be
easy with this stuff...you are invoking the powerful natural tendency
of your body and mind to heal, and get better, and stronger.
You
are pointing your awareness towards that which pleases it most...and
this means letting your awareness become aware of itself.
Awareness
of awareness is perhaps the greatest gift you can give yourself.
This
is the threshold of the Kingdom of Heaven within that is mentioned by
Jesus Christ.
So,
by being established in the Kingdom of Heaven within...all else will
be given to you.
HOMEWORK
ASSIGNMENT:
THIS
week, I am going to ask you to practice your Deep Meditation twice
each day, for 15-20 minutes each time.
So...do
some breathing first, for a few minutes...then begin the ancient
sound for maybe 10 minutes...and finish with skill of vital energy
for a few minutes...AND take lots of time to open your eyes slowly.
You
might find that you get quite deep...and want to take longer with one
or more of the techniques in your homework assignment.
That's
okay...just make sure you take lots of time to come out slowly. No
rush to open the eyes and leap up and conquer the world...okay?
PLUS...during
the day, in little cracks of time...when you become aware that you
are NOT with one of the ancient sounds...easily let your awareness
experience the ancient sound.
You
can let the ancient sound be in your mouth...and gently and very
quietly be with the ancient sound...barely audible to you...so
quietly, so softly.
ALSO...get

and
start reading the book:
There
are many specific techniques revealed in the book for you to practice
in cracks of time during your busy day. Try one or all of them, and
easily be with these techniques.
This
simple process will help to create a powerful focus of your awareness
becoming aware of itself: Awareness of awareness.
Regular
practice ensures ongoing benefits.
No
mystery there...just simple practice over a period of time. It is so
worth it!
