SUPER
POWER BREATHING EXERCISE:
Some
of you are probably familiar with specific breathing techniques from
various systems of yoga. Often these techniques are called
'pranayama.'
The
word prana means life force, vital energy, spirit energy, and life
energy.
Pranayama
means to lengthen and or regulate the prana. Usually this means to
regulate and lengthen the process of breathing through the use of
specific breathing techniques.
IF
you cannot breath, your body will quickly begin to die. The
components found in the air we breath into our body are essential to
our body.
Here's
the thing...a few minutes a day spent investing in being aware of the
breath coming in and coming out of your body will create momentum for
improvement in the quality and quantity of vital life force energy
that fuels every aspect of your life.
Today's
lesson features one of the most powerful breathing techniques EVER
taught to human beings.
This
begins a breathing series that involves a method of using your
abdomen that is quite the reverse of what we have done so far.
IF
your nasal passages are blocked or you have some difficulty breathing
in and out through your nose...use your mouth.
Make
sure you are sitting comfortably, with your head and neck free and
clear of any support (unless you have no choice in that matter).
You
might find that you are not moving the belly as much as in the first
abdominal breathing exercise that you learned.
And
THIS new abdominal breathing may seem strange, too. It might feel
quite unnatural to you.
Nice
and easy...take your time with each breath in and out. Move the belly
s l o w l y.

CHANT
RANT:
THE
power and beauty of chanting has helped many people throughout the
ages to cope with many variations of suffering.
Chanting
has helped many people to not only cope, but to transform specific
situations that are the flowery expression of the root causes of
suffering.
Chanting
CAN be a power-tool that you can use to change the core structure of
your adaptation to latent impressions you have...of the nature and
source of your own personal suffering.
Suffering
can be in a range from VERY mild to hideously extreme, and can be a
combo pack including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual
elements.
Chanting
is also a power-tool for those who are doing just fine, thank you
very much.
Chanting
can be used by anyone. It is simple to do. You can do it very, very
softly, all the way to as loud as you want.

are beginning to focus our awareness on subtle states of awareness
that includes the vital life force energy that flows directly from
the interior depths of this planet.
This
is very interesting and fascinating process.
It
is enough to begin with this simple technique that you have learned
in today's lesson.
Oh...with
this specific skill of vital life force energy, we are getting ready
for next lesson...which is going to give you the next piece of the
puzzle that you are completing.
Be
easy with this...take your time.
It
is quite possible that you will find your attention wandering during
practice. This is normal.
We
do NOT fight this tendency...or encourage it. Be in the middle. Easy
does it. Do NOT force your mind, or strain, or struggle...TRYING to
make your mind be with this or that.
Give
all that doing-doing-doing up...just give it...up.
NO
need to push, pull, thrust, strive...NO forcing or concentration
or...any of that.
All
you do...when you become aware that you are no longer with the
specific focus...gently let your awareness flow back to being with
the specific focus.
And
if you think your mind immediately gets absorbed in some other
experience...like some thought, or memory, or hearing some noise, or
noticing some function of your body...or whatever...this is very
normal...and all you do is...easily, gently,
softly-softly-softly...let your awareness come back to the specific
focus you are practicing.
That's
all there is to this.
That
is the beginning, the middle, and the end of the mystery of HOW-TO be
with the techniques.
Yes,
it really is that simple.
OPEN
THE EYES SLOWLY!
Make
sure you open your eyes very slowly...take your time...and IF it
feels too soon...take longer to open the eyes.
A
few words about all of this stuff you are doing...keep in mind these
are skills of awareness, and you MAY not be getting amazingly
fantastic results right off the bat.
Be
patient with the process...it takes time to develop the neural
pathways you are perhaps using for the first time in your entire
life.
There
are parts of the brain that are used in learning a foreign language.
And there are parts of the brain that you use with your native
language. Some of these are the same, and some are not.
IF
you have ever tried to learn a foreign language, you know how
difficult it is.
Here's
the thing...did you know how to speak your native language when you
were born?
And
if you did not learn to speak your native language...what sounds do
you think you would make to communicate?
You
did not come with a language app fully operational...you had to learn
to speak your native language.
Do
you have to think very much when you speak your native language...I
mean for the simple stuff. Probably not. It just...happens.
But
if you are going to switch to the new, foreign language that you are
just beginning to learn...okay, now you actually have to THINK about
it, right?
This
is sort of...similar...to the training you are doing with the ancient
sounds, and the skills of vital life force energy...and the breathing
skills, too.
So...take
it easy.
All
you have to do...is practice regularly.
