==> Chapter One
In this lesson of the
day, we are putting the three word phrase “God is Everything” in
a different order: “Everything Is God.”
As
you will discover, this creates a different tone to the entire lesson
of the day.
Ah, to drill deep into
consciousness requires patience and perseverance...and a gentle but
firm hand on the wheel of your own mind's thought contortions.
This is never more
true than when you are coming back from a relapse of bad temper
explosions...or a deep wallow in undisputedly deserved
sorrows.
So...carry on, brave
fellow traveler. It is to the consistent persistent that the great
rewards of God Consciousness come...sometimes in little fits and
starts...but come they do.
Patience, and carry
on...something akin to the unstiff upper lip can help...and a bit of
laugh on the merry way to the cosmic orb...certainly helps ease the
strain of TRYING to be so saintly.
Ease up on yourself, and
have a laugh and a sigh, too. Take a holiday from your serious,
burning edginess. And here is a very hot tip: The minute you start to
feel and think you're better than the sinners you are forced to
cohabitate with...I WARN you-you-you...this is the moment you are
setting yourself up to get a FREE lesson from the divine teacher in a
little humility and respect.
I guarantee you that the
moment you start to swell with the great accomplishment of your inner
peace and all-round peachiness...the sooner you are going to get your
nose rubbed in it.
So...be easy with this
lesson.
Think the phrase...and be
gentle with yourself, too.
“Everything Is God”
includes all the losers and scruffy grunters and scratchers you are
forced to breath the same air...with.
Just...take it
easy...think the phrase when you realize you aren't thinking the
phrase. And let the thoughts and feelings come and go...no trying to
feel a special way...or pull the phrase apart and figure out subtle
meanings or follow inspirations of deeper understanding...NO.
Let all that come and go
on it's own...and take the phrase with you throughout your day, into
your evening, and while you fall asleep.
And keep the practice
quiet and to yourself.
It's meant to be private.
No boasting or blabbing about your great spiritual journey.
Mum's the word.
You can let people know
about the lesson of the day, and share the web address.
Please do.
But...be
discrete about it.
No need to draw attention
or expectation to yourself.
It's tough being observed
for possible signs of sainthood...or being fallible, too.
Take it from me.
I ought to know!
All the Best,
