This is a very simple
practice to do.
You have all day long to
do this.
All that is
required...that you think three words.
That's right...think
these three words in succession:
God Is Everywhere.
Important points:
- Let the three words come into your awareness
- Gently prompt the three words into your awareness
- Let the three words come and go as they will
- When you become aware that you are no longer with the three words...let the three words come into your awareness...into your thoughts.
- Be easy with this, gentle, simple
- No need to try and feel something
- Do not begin to actively contemplate the meaning of the three words
Here's the thing...IF
some meaning or sensation comes on it's own...that's just fine.
Keep innocent, and don't
bother trying to hold onto any special moment that comes to you on
it's own.
Be with taking each bit
on it's own...as it comes...not trying to hold onto or cling to
anything.
This is NOT a form of
mood making or trying to capture a sentiment or predisposition to any
specific belief or susceptibility to being a certain way that you
might think is correct or right or proper.
All this is about is
thinking three words whenever you remember to think the three words.
And to apply this practice throughout your day, into the evening, and
then while you are falling asleep.
IMPORTANT POINT: Do NOT
use this as a club to beat out the presence of other thoughts or
feelings that may come and go, even at the same time that you think
the three words.
This includes paying
attention to other people, and to tasks you are performing. You will
develop skill in action. This is a wonderful blessing of this
practice. But, again, no need to rush and try and strain and struggle
and resist and fight...just be with the three words, and with no
expectation of a specific result.
So...you do this practice
and go about your day. You'll discover how to think the three words
that fits your rhythm...your natural pattern, and the beat of your
own heart and mind and soul.
Welcome to the consistent
practice of God Consciousness during waking state.
This is...a wonderful
gift you are giving yourself.
All the Best!
