In this article I will explore the great life of a true mystic of the Catholic Church. This woman was born in modest circumstances in Bavaria, Germany, in the year 1898, on Good Friday, April 8th.

From the year 1926 to her death in 1962, she lived on thin air.

Yes, that's right...she did not eat or drink...anything at all.

Oh, wait a minute...she did have a bite of the Eucharist.

Her name?
Therese Neumann.

I won't go into all the details of her life, and how she became a Suffering Saint. I can tell you that she is on her way to full Sainthood in the tradition of such things...as determined by the Catholic Church.

What I want to draw your attention to is the impossible fact of this great woman's life...of not eating food or drinking water for 36 years, and yet being active and vibrant during this time.

Oh...yeah...about the blood.
She bled...a lot.

Starting in 1926...she began to have the stigmata...the wounds of Jesus Christ...from the Passion of Christ.

Yeah, from about Thursday evenings to Friday afternoons...EACH and every week...until her death.

She would lose several pounds of body weight during these sessions...and then, after the bleeding was over, regain the weight.

And yes, she was studied by a very skeptical doctor...who did not believe in this mumbo-jumbo.

She was put through a very rigourous observation and testing...always under watch, 24/7...for a period of 15 days.

The doctor (Professor Ewald of Erlangen) leading the study had this to say about Therese Neumann:

"Therese ought long since to have been dried up like a mummy. But she is fresh-looking and lively, has saliva, and moist mucous membrane. One may indulge in the most fantastic imaginings, a prolongation of metabolism as in hibernation, or Iakirism - though Therese does not hibernate, but moves, speaks, reads, writes letters, goes about - this increase in weight simply cannot be explained; for something cannot come from nothing.” (I put in the italics.)

So...what does this mean to you?
Are you supposed to go all suffering succotash on me and start bleeding from the wounds of Jesus Christ?

Read the story of this woman, and really sit down and give it a think. I mean, consider what you read...and contemplate what this means...the implications.

I can tell you until the cows come home that Jesus Christ was real, and walked the Earth, and performed miracle after miracle.

And I can quote scripture and paint beautiful word pictures for you...to inspire you.

Further along this line, I can tell you about great saints and holy people who have trod this Earth...for thousands of years.

Therese herself wants you to know this: “Do not waste a single moment in doubt about the divinity of each person you come into contact with. The great lesson of our Lord and Saviour is held in His promise of eternal life by virtue of practicing the two great laws---Love God, and love your neighbour. Be with God every moment, and surround yourself with good people, good words, and good works. This is the way to know God in your own lifetime. There is only one way to Heaven, and it is with your thinking of God everytime you can. It is very important that you give your thoughts to Jesus, and to His Father. Let them shape you into your true image, that of your Father in Heaven. For as God says, 'Are you not all Gods, as it says in your laws?'”

This is a quote taken from a mystical experience of Therese Neumann talking to you directly from the great beyond...many years after her death in 1962.

So...it cannot be verified other than by me telling you it is so. There are no written records of her saying this or any witnesses to her saying this.

The reference made in the above supposed quote is taken from the New Testament, and is the famous statement of scripture from John 10:34.

Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS'”

Jesus is quoting from a law stated in Psalm 82:6. This reads as, “I said, 'You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;'”

This is very clear and cannot be disputed once you taste the fruits of God Consciousness. It is true that the journey to a stable state of God Consciousness takes it's own sweet time.

There are lessons that MUST be learned, and each person takes his own schedule with them. This journey (for you) started a long time ago. And it will be completed...whether you want it to or not.

Yes, you can delay the process...but this only entails increasing your suffering, and the suffering of other people, creatures, beings, places and things.

Here's the thing...the life of Therese Neumann is a concrete statement of the reality of God, and of the power of faith...and the real existence of super-normal powers.

It clearly shows you that this stuff is more than real...which reads like a contradiction. I get that. But it is a great contradiction.

How can something be more than real?
Well...this is a bit of a slippery answer...but points to the over-arching grandeur of the universe you live in, that you are a part of...and ultimately are the creator of...and it is this:

Like Professor Ewald of Erlange wrote in his report about Therese: “...something cannot come from nothing.”

My very strong urging is for you to get your hands on the book, “God Consciousness,” and study it's every word carefully. And apply the lessons God teaches in this wonderful book.

The teaching is direct, simple, and very clear. Yes, there are some parts that do stretch the mind...for sure. God describes some of what it is like to be God...what this means...and explains in terms people can relate to...what it is like to be God.

The book can only go so far. And then it is up to you to practice the lessons, and apply what you learn in your daily life. For that is where all this God stuff counts, right?

It is all fine and good for you to have great spiritual experiences...and that is great, for sure. And it builds great faith, too. But faith without action is dead. This is part of the call of all the saints...from every tradition of knowledge of God.

As my mother was fond of saying, “Deeds, not words.”

And no doubt you have heard the axiom: “Action speaks louder than words.”

And my personal favourite:
More words count less...hold fast to the centre.”

I can personally guarantee you that your devoted attention to your own God Consciousness will come at a price. You will have to journey through every last bit of latent shit that you are carrying with you.

Every emotional snare that you have up your sleeve will have to be untangled and removed. All the knots untied. And the dark, nasty bits that you cherish...that you hold onto...they all have to be dropped away.

And yes, it is a work in progress...and it may seem to never end. Just keep in mind that the word never contains the word ever.

So?

This may not seem relevant to the never-ever word play...but all the stuff that has to go, has to be replaced with correct and sacred concepts.

The belief founded on not-love has to be changed to the belief founded on love. This is a big deal. Just to come to terms with love itself, and the pure consciousness of love...the different attributes...like non-violence, truthfulness, and compassion...wow, baby!

That's why you need to get your eyes and or ears on this book, and study it, and practice the lessons.
