What the Bleep Is Divine Law?

OR: Cause and Effect Is Nothing To Sneeze At

In yesterday's article I promised that I would outline the replacement inventory for the error content in your negative thinking.

This made me think a lot about negative thoughts. Hey, we all have them, right? Even me, the Great Poo-Bah, yes, I have negative thoughts.

As you go along in your capacity as a self-aware human being, you are going to have plenty of opportunity to shift the focus inside your mind from the ugly, brooding density of nasty, mean-spirited, grudge and resent, take-no-prisoners flare-ups.

The big question is, what are you going to shift your focus into? You most definitely have the cosmic right to ask for help in acquiring correct content to replace harming hurt thought errors.

Let's start with this as a divine law to replace belief that attracts the negative. To put a nice spin on this, consider that your conscious mind, your state of self-awareness, is within the cosmic mind.

One of the realities to pose in contrast to negative thought and feeling misconception is you are God. Though this appears to be utterly ridiculous, it is the highest-first principle at work...for you.

Let's throw this in as a basic technique of how to start to think about divine law: Focus on the highest first.

For example: The Government of my (your) Kingdom is divine law, and the people of my (your) Kingdom are my own thoughts.

This is directed at you, and me, too. And it applies to everyone else. You may not think that you can do much about the way you think and feel...but with consistent practice of observing your own thoughts and feelings as they arise into your awareness...you will strengthen that particular muscle, and become more coordinated with it.

This will create skill mastered over time. And it does take time.

Sure, you can have really great spiritual experiences...like visions and intuitions and all sorts of cool stuff. And all that stuff is great. And, yes, it's part of the whole shtick, for sure.

But you need to stabilize your internal world of thoughts and feelings, too. That is a tremendous feat...the real, red-hot kung-fu of your mind and heart.

One of the divine laws you are going to make use of is the fact that where you focus your attention, that is where the energy is going to go. So...IF you are sticking with the negative intentions with your attention, you are going to have YOUR energy flowing in that direction...and it will attract more of the same to you.

Oh, I know, I know...how goofy this stuff reads. I get it. Boy, do I get it. Even so, it is true. Think about it this way, imagine for a moment you were living in the time around Chris Columbus, and you really, truly believed that the world was flat. And then some fool comes along and tells you the world is round. Imagine how you would react to that opinion...that belief.

Maybe you'd laugh in their face. You might think they were a silly fool. Perhaps you'd ignore them. You might even be frightened...what if someone else over-heard them spouting such blasphemy? You might get into trouble for just being there when they said such a monstrous untruth.

So...the first cosmic, eternal, divine, natural law is that you are God, and God is you. And so is everything else. And that means the person you don't like is also God.

Oh, before you get into how useless this is to you in the heat of the moment...remember (please remember) that this is about replacing misconceptions with concepts of reality.

Another divine law is bound within the unbounded, unlimited, unconditional reality of God's love. This means you have access to this unconditional love, too. You can focus in on it, and replace the misconceptions that come from not-love.

(On a personal note, I have some personal experience with this reality of God's unconditional love. And I plan to dish on this in the next article.)

Divine law is structured in the reality of your ability to change your fricking mind...and your feelings, too. It means that if you blow it, get mad, lose the plot, use your blame-thrower to roast somebody who obviously most certainly deserves far worse...and shoot from the lip...that does NOT mean all is lost forever.

Oh, don't get me wrong. This is no excuse to go right ahead and be cruel and mean with your words, body language, and so on. And it doesn't mean that you have stepped out of the realm of spiritual physics...of cause and effect...where your actions do not create reactions.

It does mean that you can start to work with divine law to bring about healing. Sometimes some stuff that you do really is going to mean that a person won't want to be with you, ever. And that relationship...in it's human construct, is over.

And maybe you are going to never see a person again who has been horrible to you. For whatever reason...maybe it's just too dangerous, not worth the risk, and so on.

As you work with this powerful reality of divine law, you are going to get some direct guidance from God. And part of that could include a very direct and specific warning NOT to do whatever it is you might be thinking of doing...like going to see so and so and try and make it all better.

Here is another divine law...it doesn't always work on your schedule. It might not happen when you think it should. And you can get in your own way by burdening the cosmos with your agenda.

This part of divine law could be expressed as the old saw: “Let go and let God.”

Within the cosmic deal, you for sure have the right to ask for what you want. The more inline with your higher self, with the highest first principle...the more support of nature you are going to get.

Now don't go thinking you can't get what you want that's coming from your dark-side desires. You sure can manifest dark-side aspirations and desires. Oh Baby, can you ever. Evil wanting is supple and seductive...and will reward you accordingly.

So you can cheat and betray, take from those who are foolish enough to trust you...or greedy enough to get involved with you. I know there is another old saw, “The biggest rat stays on top.”

This is a saying from the criminal underworld in reference to the use of top criminals who are smart enough to inform on rivals...to the police. Used judiciously, this is an effective way to leverage society to your advantage.

Sticking the knife in somebodies back is a time honoured method of getting ahead...and is much admired by many people.

Ah, if only the consequences of your actions ended with your eventual demise. Ah, if only cause and effect could be manipulated as cunningly as people.

I know it is tempting to think that there is no life after this one, which is a bit like believing the earth is flat. Alas, you will continue, and all the stuff you do has to be dealt with.

It is much better to get into it now, and consciously embrace the power of your self-awareness to guide you into alignment with cosmic, natural, divine law.

You do this by:
  • Observing
  • Choosing
  • Giving up blame (of yourself and others)
  • Creating it the way you want it by asking for what you want
  • Persisting (this is a gradual process)

You can only go as fast as you are ready for. And there will be set-backs, and failures, and disappointments, and frustrations, and problems...and all of these events are part of the process...part of your individual learning curve...from the death of a child, to getting fired, to losing a leg...and on and on and on.

What?
This too much like real life?
You don't want to even think about the fact that really painful stuff happens...out there?

It does.
And you can help make it better...for yourself, and all the other selves, and creatures, and places and things, too.

Ask God to teach you about what divine law is, and how to work and play with this reality. And save yourself a lot of stupid stuff by not telling God how to teach you. Seriously, God will get around to it in the order and intensity that makes the most sense for your current situation.

Here is one last replacement concept for you to insert into the waiting self-awareness: The person who is mistreating you is doing the best they can, even if they are deliberately doing evil. That's the best that they can do.

What?
Are you...insane?
You've got to be kidding me, right?
That's some kind of sick joke...right?

You may not like what they're doing to you, but it is the best they can do. It's not a get out of jail free card. No.

It doesn't mean you are required to take a beating...either verbal or physical or both. And you can summon powerful truth to help you. But sometimes you do get murdered, raped, robbed, and so on. It happens to the best of us.

I want to dwell on this dark-side stuff in detail. But not right now. Let's just leave it like this: You are existing within the reality of divine law, and this law includes the right to free-will. So you can be a complete dick...it is your right by virtue of free-will. It also means you have the right to be amazingly wonderful, too.

You can align your free-will with the will of God. And God's will is worth asking for. Ask God to give you the will of God...it is yours anyway. But you have to chose it.

I know there are some really big, fat holes in all this stuff. Just doesn't exactly add up. I know. But that's the beauty of the whole thing. There is a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense that makes a lot of sense...later.

Be patient with “it.”
Seriously.
Ask, listen, heed.
If you fail...once you have come to your senses, ask for help.

Okay, enough of this article.
We need more power-tools to make this thing start humming for you. So, next article I am going to open up the tool-box and give you some stuff for you to do.

And it all centres around the theme of unconditional love.
