Lesson For The Day

As in previous "Lesson's of the Day," this lesson includes the specific instructions on how to use this thought-construct throughout your busy day, right into the evening, and then while you fall asleep and drift away into dream land.

Instructions:
  • When you become aware that you are no longer experiencing the presence of the thought-construct, "Bliss," gently nudge your mind to experience the word, "Bliss."
  • Let the word be in your thoughts until it naturally fades from your conscious awareness;
  • Again, when you become aware that you are NOT thinking the word "Bliss," gently and innocently and with no big deal or fancy light shows or special trumpets blaring...let the word form in your awareness;
  • The more you can let the thought-construct manifest in a very simple and easy way---well that's just great!
  • So...NO beating your mind into submission, or grunting forcing, or panting with effort...no-no-no, don't do it!
  • Just touch your awareness with the very beginning of the word, "Bliss," and let it flow from there;
Keep in mind (ha-ha-ha, our little joke!) that this practice does NOT involve trying to elicit a specific mood to attach to the thought-construct, "Bliss."

And it does NOT involve focusing on a specific memory of something you associate with bliss.

This practice is NOT a form of deliberate mood-making...no-no-no.

IF a feeling comes with the practice...we let that rise and fall, rise and fall...experiencing the self-awareness being aware of...itself.

You might find that the word keeps on, like a pulse beat, and that's just fine. Let it be. 

Your ONLY part is to be with the thought-construct when you become aware that you are NO longer with the thought-construct...that's it, that's all.

One effect that can begin to appear while you practice...is...you will start to experience more space within your awareness where there is a longer period of awareness of being aware. 

We can call this a simple state of awareness...we are present...and awake...but NOT absorbed in thought and or feeling to the point where we are lost in thought and or feeling...and self-awareness has---poof!---gone away.

Thinking this thought-construct may well induce a long-lived or brief flutter of...BLISS. But we are NOT looking for a result, or busy anticipating or expecting...a result. 

This is about doing much, much less...and accomplishing much, much more. This is designed to establish the State of Heaven Within.
