OR: The All Consuming Power of Assumptions

Hello to you!
Welcome to the Fantasy Island extravaganza that includes the hidden powers of how I can make you assume something to be what it is not.

To get this party started...let's take a look at what the word "assume" actually means---I find the meaning of words to be revealing and helpful to process insights and clarity (and so on).

This rascally word infers so much, doesn't it?
I mean...you might already have some pre-existing assumptions about what the word "assume" really means...and what it actually means to assume...something.

There is great power in the deliberate cultivation of influencing outcomes by using the power of assumption----by the association of authority, and assumed authority.

Like for instance when a uniformed police officer comes to your door. There is a great deal of the power of assumption going on. You assume this is a police officer.

Here's another one, when you are waiting for a doctor you've never met whose sex you do not know, and in comes a person dressed like a doctor, with all the doctor stuff, the white coat and the doo-dads...and they tell you that they are the doctor so and so, and---the power of assumption is going to be at work.

Hey, this means---dumb-dumb, that you don't really see eveything that is going on, all the time. you can miss little things that can sl ip by. Or even more sneaky, I can be doing something misleading to keep your attention on one set of your assumptions, all the while I can be fiddling around over here, behind your back while I've got you good and distracted with your set of assumptions hard at work to keep you firmly in place where you are...at.
As the arbiter between mercy and pay-back, sometimes the merciful thing to do is to make them suffer most greviously. It sounds so good as a soundtrack. You could play it on your ear buds as you go to school in the morning...or while you go to pick up your kids at school.

Listen to the sound of slaughter mayhem,
and the screams of agony.
All genuine.

So now? What is your assumption doing to you...the power of my words to shape your assumptions about what person I might be---
You can assume what you want. It is obvious that it is dangerous and foolhardy to allow your assumptions to merit control over your cognitive ability NOT to fall for your own press clippings.

The hard and brutal truth about having a spiritual bent, and thinking that you are actually hearing God---is that you are deluded. You are assuming it is god or God or GOD thinking directly into your consciousness...as thoughts that you have, and that you can directly communicate with God, and have a thought-versation with God?

Have I more or less got what your trip is?
Reeks of the New Age standard issue props-of-ganga
soaked in the brine of feng shui and woven in a dream
analysis via Carl Jung and your vision board
---what can't be seen best by anyone is their own assumptions.

Just like the sex outrages of priests for how long?
Hundreds of years?
Probably as long as there've been priests in the Christian deal---there've been sex perverts preying on, er...praying on...hmmmm, screwing with kids.

The assumption is that priest wouldn't do such a thing, and only a very messed up kid would ever even suggest such a thing was possible.
The power of assumption by association with authority permits long term
abuse of sex abuse.
