Right now, you FEAR something.
You are AFRAID!

Wait a minute, I am NOT afraid right now. I don't feel FEAR.
Oh really?
IT's there.
Lurking in your physiological infrastructure.
Ticking away in your amygdala.

What?
YES.
All the time, 24 hours-a-day, seven days each week, all year long...for your entire existence---you are going to be living with fear.

When Does Fear First Show Up?

This is important.
At what age do you have fear appear?

You start to feel fear when you are in your mummy's womb.
I know, that is...almost unbelievable.

But it is true.
And the more stress Mummy has, the more that is passed on to the little person growing inside her body. And it will shape the unborn's future well-being, too.


The skinny on YOU and FEAR?
YOU were born with TWO FEARS:


ONE---Fear of loud noises

TWO---Fear of falling


Back to you in the right now...this present moment.
After all, it is all about YOU, right?

Right.

You have a red-alert, emergency system on duty, even while you are asleep---especially while you sleep.
This system is best described as a question one part of your brain is ALWAYS asking: 
"Am I safe?"

The system is ALWAYS scanning for evidence to answer the question:
"Am I safe?"


And when it gathers evidence that shows you are NOT safe...look out!
IMMEDIATELY your body begins to react.
Even when it is not a real and true threat to your safety.

Your brain is going to decide if the perceived threat is serious.

While it is deciding...the alert system is going to kick in.
And you are going to start feeling the initial stimulation to get you ready to do...something.

Flee.
Freeze.
Fight.

That's about it. Those are the coping mechanisms.



Oh, and I can totally manipulate you...using FEAR to do it, too.
I can create a credible narrative about how you are under threat by some strange and dangerous group of people.


We saw a lot of that during the 2016 USA Presidential Erection...er...I mean Election of 2016. Both sides used FEAR and LOATHING to get people riled up. 

Now, some of you might suggest that Donny T. was the most willfully ignorant of the two front-runners, and pressed the FEAR BUTTON a lot more than Hilly C., but...think about it.

Yeah, he did manage to isolate the key FEAR ingredients of the voters he was going after:

  • Brown and Black People
  • Loss of Jobs
  • Invasion by Illegal Immigrants
  • Distrust of "The Establishment"
  • Muslims
  • Abortion
  • Crime
He took aim with the FEAR GUN, pulled the trigger, and fired.
And he kept pulling that trigger.
That message moved many people to vote for Donny.

He contrasted the threat that he created in their minds with the strong suggestion that ONLY he could protect them...from the very threat that he was creating in their collective imagination.

Oh, sure...the threat was ticking away in the amagula of each prospect he was going after. Donny used that existing puss pocket of toxic fear to manipulate them...to motivate them to cast their votes his way.

And it worked, didn't it?
And the lesson this taught everyone is that you can be a bully, lie, cheat, blame the victims, and sow the seeds of hatred and division with impunity.

Donny is the new role model for an entire cluster of future leaders in every area of the global society.
What he taught you is that you can be vile, tasteless and without any honour, and it is very much okay.

Hey, before you start painting me as a liberal fool, keep very much in mind that it is a matter of public record how much Donny outright lied to your face.

I know if you are a fan of Donny, this is a hard one to take in.
But you can ignore the facts.

You do know about what he said about women, right?

And it could be about your daughter...your wife...your sister.

What's so intriguing about all this stuff that Donny said...the lies, the bragging, the insults...all of it...is how it just didn't matter in the end.


People who normally would be disgusted by the same antics in anyone else...they lined up by the thousands to listen to this architect of fear.
Why?
Because he pandered to their lowest common denominator.
And what's that, you ask?

FEAR of the stranger.
FEAR of loss.

FEAR of change.
FEAR of fear itself.

What happens when you become afraid is that the big part of your brain where all the higher functions take place gets shut down. Your range of creative thinking gets narrowed. You make choices that are fear-based.

So when you see the shadowy figure in the darkness...looming over you, and there is a scary noise...all the symptoms of fear will begin to kick in.

IT is automatic. And it is there for a very good reason, too.

There are plenty of quotes waiting for you online. And many, many videos about FEAR.
So you can learn a lot about "it."
And you can play with fear, too.

One way you can do this is to approach a balcony parapet that is on the eighth floor (or higher). Yeah, get right up to the parapet, and then lean on it, and look over the side.

Can you feel the sensation sucking at the soles of your feet?
The way your gut starts to quease?
Yeah?

That's fear.
You're scared!
There is something dangerous that you are threatening your basic survival instinct with.

Now, are you going to really fall to your death?
Probably not.

But it still scares you, doesn't it?

One thing is for sure---YOUR anxiety level is directly related to YOUR perception of what is going on.

The BIGGER you make the problem, the LESS power you will have.

One antidote to the FEAR CYCLE is to look at the worst case scenario of what will happen to you IF what you fear actually happens. This MAY introduce a sense of proportion.

In my personal journey with writing this series about FEAR...I have discovered that I think and feel that many people are not going to be able to conquer their fears because it is just to fricking scary to face that fear.

You see...fear has a way of eating it's way deep inside you. It is a feed=back loop that is self-reinforcing. Sure, I can stand there and tell you that getting into that elevator is nothing to fear.

But when you push yourself to step inside that elevator...the fear cycle starts to kick in, and before you know it---PANIC ATTACK!

Have you ever been in a car accident?
Yeah?

Okay, so you know that when you start using a car again, after the accident, you notice how touchy you are? How easily you get nervous and ill at ease in situations that normally NEVER bothered you before?

For most people, this will gradually fade away. And after a time, the nervous fear, the flinching...will be gone.

But not always. And it is easily triggered, too.

When I was a young man...I had a period when I was exposed to several horrific car accidents. I wasn't in the accidents myself. But I witnessed the accidents.

What I remember the most is the initial SOUND of the accident happening. That sound of the screeching brakes, and then the terrible impact...metal on metal, glass breaking, and the sudden rise of another sound: People wailing, screaming, crying.

Anyway, I saw the wrecks, too.
The bodies strewn on the road.
The broken people inside the cars.
Bones sticking out...blood flowing from bad, bad wounds...brains leaking out of skulls...children's body parts going in very wrong directions.

It really is grotesque.
What happened to me was that for a few years after this bonus round period of being exposed to serious carnage by automobiles---when I heard the screech of brakes...and the impact sound...MY body would begin to freak out.


And I would not be able to go and see what happened.
I just...couldn't face seeing another car accident scene.

And now?
Something happened to me over the decades since that time. Now the car accident horror doesn't make me break out in a cold sweat. And I can look at the broken bodies and crushed cars without feeling like I need to run away.


So...we can adjust to our fears. I know this is true. But many of us are stuck inside a sort of prison constructed from our fears. Our fear can keep us from doing whatever it is that we are afraid of doing.

And even if you do muster up enough courage to give "it" a go, our fear can make us so nervous that we can't go through with it.

Like if you have to make a speech in front of a crowd of thousands of people...and you are terrified at the prospect of making a speech to even a small group of people---let's face it, you might end up simply freezing...not even able to walk out on that stage and face those thousands of people.

And if you do manage to walk out to the podium...you are shaking and so nervous---it becomes almost impossible for you to speak. Your vocal cords seem to have stopped working. You literally can't get one word out of your mouth...let alone make a sound.

There are many lists to muse over. And this can be a very fascinating niche for many people---and you quickly get an idea of how attractive this is to people.

When you ask the internet about super powers you will find many places where you can learn how to develop super normal powers.

Now most people will probably tell you it is not possible to learn how to fly, as in levitation or Super Man. And that it is not possible to be invincible.

But many of us have a liking for characters who can fly,
and bullets bounce of their bodies.

So this super normal power niche is very attractive to many people.
People get a chance to pretend they have super normal powers.


And it keeps many people coming back for more.

Partly because many people can now live in an imaginary world during their day. They do this by playing electronic video games of one sort another.
AND THEY USE all kinds of technology to get there.

Here is the thing, 
So far I haven't talked much about fear in this article exchange between me and Robert. He and I are both good friends with Swami Bob.

NOW...Swami Bob is the real deal.
He can do all that stuff you read about in the lists on super normal powers.

And if he wants to show you, he will.
That is pretty much up to him...IF you think about it.
I know you won't believe me, but he can control space and time...IF he takes a fancy to doing it.

It's all about the big fat IF.

Mostly he is what in the modern hippity hop bop,
would be called,
"...keepin' a low profile...."

NO need drawing attention to yourself.
He uses the name Swami Bob, but I don't really think
that is his
real name.

He once told me that the toughest thing he ever had to do was conquer FEAR.

He said to me, "Fear of death is present, even in the wise" (super-normal beings).

What follows is my point of view bout the evidence of fear
being used to control your behaviour---especially when you are being made to fear for your very life.

Along the line quoted in Robert's article portion.
He quoted Adolf Hitler:

"The best political weapon? Nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death." 

So you are here seeking to conquer your fears?
Maybe you think you have no real fears.
Or just the usual ones.
Whatever those are.

Not to be too mocking of you, Tough Guy,
BUT I can make you feel pure and utter fear.
The kind that makes you do anything to make it stop.
Say anything, do anything, if only they will make you 
stop suffering this fear.

I can find out if you are afraid of heights and play
you like a primitive brain dominated hominid 
---expletive deleted--- 
Fear will be used to make you do whatever I want
you to do. Unless you learn to never have fear again.

Is that what you would like?
Never to feel fear again.
Not anywhere in your body or your being.
FEARLESS.
Let's take a look at this idea of being FEARLESS.

There is so much out there on the internet about how to conquer your fears. AND as you know, there are many sources---some of them are motivational speakers. People working in this niche often refer to fear, and how it keeps YOU from attaining the life YOU could have...IF you weren't so afraid.

Being afraid doesn't mean you don't do it.
IT just doesn't feel very nice.
FEAR is nasty.
IT hurts.
Yeah, and it keeps you in a prison. 
IT is how you can make millions of people to walk into the gas chambers.
That is how powerful fear is.

Being aware of the way you are manipulated by your fears,
being manipulated for the purpose of people who understand how to use this power of fear.

One of the practical ways I am going to teach you is how to actually become fearless. This is in part the teaching from Swami Bob. So you know it's going to change your fundamental view of reality.
Especially your ability to not be afraid of any threat, at all.
Even when someone points a gun at you.
Or threatens you with a knife.

NO FEAR.

This is powerful stuff.
Never being afraid of going broke...or being broke. As in no money.
Afraid of a bully?
Not anymore.

Afraid of making that next sales call?
Ask that guy out for the weekend...explicitly.

What would you do if you weren't scared of doing it?
Jump out of an airplane, yeah, with a parachute.
SKY DIVING.

I suggest to you that what you want is to at least reduce some of the impact that fear has on you. Imagine being much less afraid of something or other.
Your choice.

How about something sexual?
Are you afraid to try something sexual?
OR how about being afraid to hit someone.
What if you were no longer afraid to get in a real, physical fight.
Or if you weren't afraid to just smoke someone without warning.
Take them completely by surprise.
That's it, lights out.
Didn't have a chance.
Because you didn't hesitate, you weren't afraid.
You had no fear.

So it'd be easy for you to kill someone.
NO FEAR of consequences to hold you back.

Perhaps you would like to start with one tangible 
and smaller outcome of your first lesson.

LESSON ONE:

Technique for Fear Reduction?
Thought Interference.


Yes, the way into the fearless outcome starts with the honing of your will power.

The best and quickest way to start with this outcome is by using your conscious awareness to kick in whenever you notice yourself beginning to think of whatever it is that has a touch of fear to it.

Fear includes worry.
Yes, worry is a component of fear.
To understand that when you are stressed out about something or other, that's because fear is at work.
Something you are worried about happening is making you feel not all like frolicking for joy. 

NO...It's on your mind sometimes, whatever it is, and it bothers you.

I don't know what it is.
Could be a crappy job, maybe your boss is a horrible human being.

Or the way your boyfriend is treating you---OR not treating you, and how you worry that he's going to get violent, he's got that edge to him, you know?

Maybe you are telling lies, and you are afraid all them lies are going to catch up to you.

You ever murder somebody and get away with it?
Like every President of the United States of America.

Think about it.
If they were judged by the statutes of Swami Bob, and the Highest Court There IS---and the most powerful, too. This Cosmic Court induces justice to give birth to the agents of perpetual balancing.


Think about what the agent of perpetual balancing enacts.
It is called being the innocent postman, delivering the Karma Letter. You can't blame the Innocent Postman.
NO WAY.

It just 'ain't fair.

So you need to remember that the first lesson is about distracting yourself from staying with actively thinking about your fear.

The practice is to use your conscious awareness of what you are actually thinking...in the moment...so that you can modify your own thoughts---ON PURPOSE.

This is the fundamental FIRST SKILL of THINKING that you are practicing.

IT is easy to do, and fun, too.
And you will learn much along the way.
Just through practice itself.
There are a series of insights that will be all your own.
No one else can give them to you but yourself.
The technique you are practicing is ONLY a way 
for you to make a much more powerful ability to develop over time.

And that will be to use the steady state of awareness---the ability to control your own thoughts, at will----and to focus that steady state of awareness on a specific.

All you have to do is be with your own thoughts.
And when you notice you are inside your own thoughts, lost in thought, then that's the prompt for you to be with your own thinking.

Take a look around and see if you can consciously notice your immediate surroundings. Take in the different things you can see, and notice the colours, and the shapes and the shadows, and see if you can remember information about what you see.

Count the windows. Look in the inside corner of the windows. Just totally stare, and see what you can see. Not up close, but you can if you want.

Now try this one.
IT Is really powerful.
When you are driving, walking, running, standing...outside...on a road, a path...look as far along the road as you can. To where you can't see where the road is at. You are looking at where the road seems to meet the top of a slope or where a curve in the road goes out of sight.

Maybe you can't see round that corner.

Try this optic technique to shift your awareness.
It is hard to think about stuff when you really get into sensory technique.
What's nice about this intervention niche?
You are going to be literally developing your brain by doing these exercises.

EVERY TIME you practice you are training your physical and psyche brain, expanding your ability.

That's what Thought Intervention Training brings to the table.
All you need bring to the table is your faint hope...and start the practice.

AND this is going to take us to the practical application of your ability to control what you think.
This means you can choose what you think.
All the time.
Because you can do this, you can now start to learn and practice supernormal powers.

When we take a look at the fears you have, and we come up with an idea of what your life could be like without those fears...that's the motivation energy. What will it feel like to you to be able to go out and do the things that you are afraid to do...so that you do them, and they get done.

Think about.
It is your nature to follow the momentum that is in your life.
And if you intervene in your own momentum at the fundamental level of your own free-will...so that you begin to direct your free-will.

And you start doing this by actively controlling your own mind.
And you do that by starting to intervene in your own thinking.

Yes, it does require a conscious choice...and each time you do it, too. And sometimes it can become Second Nature. This can become a habit. You can get habituated to being aware of what you are thinking as you think...it.

Changing the subject back to fear.
And the book.
There is an entire lesson chapter devoted to FEAR.
Yes, the God Book.
This book is becoming an underground movement.
The lessons that are taught in the book...more people are starting to learn and practice the lessons. 
And we'll see what happens.

The concept of fear is based in how it grips your body.
And I can make you scared.

Just by feeding you the images and sounds that begin to get you to feel fear.
IF I point a gun at someone next to you...some stranger in a shopping mall, and I shoot the gun, and you see the stranger get shot, with blood coming from the impact of the bullets...and then I point the gun at you --- well, are you gonna be scared?

But what if the gun is a prop gun, and shooting blanks?
And the stranger has squibs in his shirt.

And the entire event is staged, using special effects.
A pure illusion.

Yet your primitive brain is going to tell you to be afraid.
And it is going to do it a lot sooner than your frontal lobes can maybe think of something else.

Without the over-ride of your primitive brain stem...you'd be able to have no fear, and your frontal lobes would take over.

Hey, do you think insects feel fear?
What about worms?
Do they worry?


Do rocks fear?
Does the sun worry about something?
Is the sun afraid of it's own shadow?
